For more than 110 years, NUHS has been the leader in integrative teaching, training and treatment. What makes us different?
At National University, you will have the unique opportunity to study chiropractic medicine in an integrative learning environment alongside other natural health care focused professionals and put your skills into practice in an integrative clinical setting.
We train our chiropractic medicine students to become primary care physicians who are focused on providing patient-centered care and whole health healing. You will learn a variety of treatment modalities, including performing adjustments, nutritional and lifestyle counseling, providing supplements and more.
With your extensive training as a thorough chiropractic medicine practitioner, you will be uniquely prepared for their ever-changing health care environment.
At NUHS, you will have the option to earn a second degree (ND, MSOM or MSAc) through dual enrollment.
Earning two degrees simultaneously can save you months, years and several thousands of dollars—while also expanding your career options as a chiropractic medicine practitioner and increasing your earning potential!
Doctor of chiropractic medicine students may choose to pursue their degree at our Illinois campus near Chicago, or our Florida campus right outside Tampa. Both areas are home to some of the largest health care communities in the nation with diverse patient bases and countless post-grad opportunities.
Our chiropractic medicine students are taught in modern classrooms utilizing state-of-the-art technology such as SMART boards. Our gross anatomy laboratory houses over 40 human cadavers, allowing you to learn by hands-on dissection rather than prosection or virtual instruction.
In addition to hands-on dissection, NUHS offers the Anatomage Table, today’s most technologically advanced digital visualization system for anatomy education. Active learning continues during clinical science studies in our Training and Assessment Center, where you’ll work with “standardized patients” to develop your clinical and communication skills.
We believe in bringing together professionals from a broad range of medical specialties for the benefit of patients and the health care industry as a whole. By earning a doctor of chiropractic degree from NUHS, you’ll be ideally suited for the growing number of integrative practice opportunities.
